What is DDA?
The DDA is a service that allows the payer, a BOC Brasil client, to consult, schedule and pay electronically via Internet Banking their registered bills issued by any bank participating in the DDA.

This electronic payment system was developed by the Brazilian Federation of Banks - FEBRABAN with the support of the Central Bank of Brazil - BACEN and brings greater security and efficiency to the issuing and payment of bill.

What has changed

The payer will now be treated as an “Electronic Payer” and will have “multi-bank scanning”, through the DDA system implemented in the Brazilian banking sector, which allows them to consult, schedule and make their payments electronically.

Beneficiaries will now have a more secure electronic boleto delivery system, agility and transparency for their registered collection process, which improves cash flow management and directly reduces printing and postage costs.

Banks will now be able to electronically deliver all securities registered and issued against a CPF/CNPJ in a single system, processed by the Interbank Payments Chamber - CIP, to all banking sector clients.

Advantages

• Agility and convenience for consulting, scheduling and making payments;
• Guaranteed receipt of the payment, as it is electronic;
• Greater security by eliminating the need for a printed boleto;
• Reduction in paper consumption, as the printed boleto is no longer needed;
• Greater control of receipts and payments;
• No need to issue a paper boleto and type in the barcode.

How it works
• The issuer of the debt - beneficiaries - sends the securities to the payers - drawees through the banks participating in the DDA;
• The system directs collections electronically to customers who sign up to the DDA;
• The bond is available for the payer to consult and make payments through the banks authorized by the payer.

Security

The DDA allows the collection and payment process to be carried out with the same security as the Brazilian Payment System (SPB), with information processed exclusively electronically.
