The development and publication of a inventory, as well as a Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) inventory, is one of the main ways of demonstrating our corporate positioning, transparency and reporting the progress of our initiatives. It is also a way of being accountable to our stakeholders, the market and society in general about our operations and practices.

The Emissions Inventory is the mapping of the GHG emission sources of an activity, process, organization, economic sector, city, state or even a country, followed by the quantification, monitoring and recording of these emissions. Banco CCB Brasil participates in the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, coordinated by FGVces, through which it carries out its inventory with the aim of mitigating GHG emissions and, consequently, reducing the likelihood of extreme weather events.

In 2021, CCB Brasil joined the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program tool, coordinated by FGVces, with the objective of managing its emissions through a methodology of worldwide recognition and of making its inventory public, through its publication in the Public Registry of Emissions, reassuming the Institution's commitment to being transparent, managing its emissions, as well as promoting continuous improvement based on the results obtained in the base year.

The results obtained are included in the Inventory of GHG Emissions and in the Annual and Sustainability Report.

The Greenhouse Gas Inventory brings:

• Monitoring of emissions over time;

• The establishment of goals and indicators;

• The ability to implement improvements;

• Recognition by stakeholders;

• Facilitating the use of inventory data in other initiatives, such as GRI;

• The opening of new markets;

• Transition to a low carbon economy.
